Property Manager – Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Property Manager to join our team. This role is essential to the day-to-day operations of our properties and to delivering excellent service to residents and property owners. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily property operations
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
• Assist with leasing activities, including applicant screenings and lease preparation
• Coordinate property maintenance and repairs by working closely with vendors and contractors
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Assist with financial tasks, including rent collection, budgeting, and expense tracking
• Utilize property management software to track work orders, maintenance requests, and resident communications
• Organize and maintain digital records in Google Drive, including leases, owner agreements, and onboarding documents
• Onboard new property owners, ensuring all required information and documentation is received and properly communicated

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Mississippi Real Estate License
• Previous experience in property management or a related field preferred
• Experience using AppFolio property management software
• Familiarity with affordable housing programs, including Section 8
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
• Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficient in Google Drive and digital document organization
• Ability to draft agreements accurately and professionally
• Knowledge of property maintenance best practices
• Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
