We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our manufacturing facility located in Starkville, MS. We are conveniently located across from the Mississippi State Campus. We are looking for self-motivated, disciplined individual to perform a wide variety of duties. In this role, you will report to the Quality Engineer.

Basic Function of the Job:

Responsible for assisting the Quality Department in maintaining and improving overall quality system (procedures, systems, processes, cost, and yields) related to manufacturing, support, and development processes.

  • Ability to contribute to the definition of problems and their resolution.
  • Good organizational skills involving abilities to handle a variety of different work and responsibilities at the same time, with attention to minute details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and process procedures
  • Good reporting and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of or experience with ISO9001 standard.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor, crystal growth and wafer processing methods, equipment and processes.
  • Experience with measurement methods and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated capability to contribute to the resolution of problems that occur during normal work processes
  • Capability to quickly respond to unusual events, emergencies and/or accidents
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural, team based environment


  • High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer Associate degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years' experience in Quality or relevant technology, laboratory or production environment
  • Ability to learn and perform new measurement and inspection techniques
  • Aptitude to take direction and orders and execute them efficiently.
  • Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multitask.
  • Experience with networked PC based computer system (spreadsheets, Email, MRP systems)
  • ITAR compliance requirement: Individual must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
