Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. Assist in daily business operations.
Provides support services such as client contact record and account maintenance, preparation of forms and new business submission, preparing client communications, preparing supplemental meeting prep, providing meeting follow-up support, providing service processing support, records retention & filing.
Responsibilities will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the advisor. Position can lead into future career path as licensed paraplanner and/or associate financial advisor.
Prepare correspondence for advisor signature
Copy and track all client and practice materials including business correspondence
Copy and follow-up with home office on related issues
Prepare agendas/forms for appointments
Document client contacts/calls
Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial advisor

College degree required. Degree in finance/financial services, insurance or marketing given priority consideration.
Successful candidate must be willing to (over time) secure all relevant insurance and securities licensing for career advancement. The client service specialist will be expected to have the desire for career-focused growth.
