Through a grant from United Way of North Central Mississippi, Whole Child Initiative is excited to share these informative resources with community members at no charge through a seminar that will take place on Tuesday, October 25 on the campus of Mississippi State University. From 6-8 PM in the Colvard Student Union, Foster Ballroom U, digital safety expert, Richard Guerry, will provide applicable knowledge for families, teachers, and other youth advocates on ways to promote responsibility with digital resources and prevent cyber bullying, inappropriate photos, careless use of apps, and other poor social media behaviors and attitudes. He will also take questions from attendees. Guerry has been a featured speaker at numerous national & international conferences and appeared as an expert on Radio Disney, CNN, FOX, CBS, MTV’s Thin Line Campaign, as well as in Parade Magazine and many local, regional, and international publications.
