SB 2553 passed the House and Senate in early April, and changes requirements for cottage food industry products. We are assessing how these changes will affect our market and we encourage you to call us at 662-323-3322 before submitting your application if you are interested in the SCM for the 2013 season.

We believe this Bill will remove several steps in the certification process for some potential vendors, however, we are still working to obtain clarification on exactly which products this will apply to.
