MSU Shades of Starkville

The Center for Student Activities would like to extend an invitation to your business or organization to participate in the 4th Annual “Shades of Starkville”, an event combining the Showcase of Starkville and the Student Involvement Fair, on Monday, August 18, 2013, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on the Drill Field. Shades of Starkville was brought to the MSU community after receiving a huge response from MSU students claiming they do not know where to shop or the full array of dining options in the community. Students continually ask: “Where can I buy clothes?”, “Where can I take my parents to eat?”, or “What services are offered to me?”

Instead of giving students a list of Starkville businesses or organizations, the Center for Student Activities is extending this invitation in hopes that you will travel to campus, educating students, faculty, and staff on what your specific shop or restaurant has to offer. Any business can participate by paying a small fee in order to purchase booth space. Businesses will be able to bring any promotional items or giveaways, provide coupons for future visits, or simply chat to students as they browse through the showcase.
