Eight musical acts and a new art market will be among highlights at Mississippi State's second Old Main Music Festival.
- GIVERS, a Lafayette, Louisiana - based indie pop group
- The Humble (formerly Mo Lowda and the Humble), a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, rock trio;
- Jamie Davis and Soul Gravy, a country/soul/Southern rock group
- Seth Powers, a recent MSU graduate from Brandon who now is a Starkville-based singer/songwriter
- Fides, a Clinton rock band
Also on the musical bill are The Peddlers, Damien and Gerald, and Railroad Rodeo.
For the first time, this year's festival is sponsoring an art market, with creations offered for sale by an array of local craftpersons.
Additionally, several local food vendors will be set up on the grounds, as will be range of games available for participants of all ages. A corn hole tournament with a $5 entry fee will raise funds for Relay for Life.
