The Starkville Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), a member agency of the Greater Starkville Development Partnership, released the 2014-2015 Sponsorship Program applications.  

Last year, the CVB allocated over $50,000 to local organizations and businesses hosting events and programs that will ultimately increase tourism in the Starkville area.  The application guildelines request that specific details be given about the event or program, including a project description, target audience, potential plan for economic return, marketing plan, and methods for tracking and measuring the project's success.  The CVB Advisory Board will review applications and notify applicants of their award status within 30 days of the June 20 deadline.
